Jacqueline DeVite believes that if she had been sleeping in her bed Friday morning, she might be dead today. DeVite was away for the night when a box truck carrying mail crashed into her house at 6047 N. Edinburg Road around 5:35 a.m., destroying her bed, her bedroom, and the basement and cracking most of the walls inside the house. Jacqueline DeVite believes that if she had been sleeping in her bed Friday morning, she might be dead today.
