Upper Marlboro Water Main Repaired, Road Still Closed
Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 PropertyA large water main break in Upper Marlboro that created a sinkhole large enough to swallow a car has been repaired. Kira Calm Lewis, spokeswoman for Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) says the 30-inch main that broke in the 6900 block of South Osbourne Road around 10:45 Sunday night is now fixed and water service to the affected customers has been restored.
