Thursday, December 15th, 2016 Excess & Surplus Lines

A semitrailer truck carrying mail caught fire Tuesday morning on Interstate 94 near Hudson, forcing eastbound traffic to be re-routed off the highway for four and a half hours. The truck, operated by Navigation Group of Downers Grove, Ill., was reported on fire on shoulder of the eastbound lanes at 8:25 a.m. When State Patrol officers arrived they found the truck fully engulfed in flames which were spreading to the trailer. The driver was not injured. The hazard conditions forced traffic onto an alternate route.
