A 72-year-old man burned in a Wednesday morning St. Albans fire has died. Thomas Page called for help at about 1:11 a.m. Wednesday, alerting dispatchers to a fire in his home, where he was trapped. Page was disabled, police said. Members of the St. Albans Police Department carried the man from his home at 203 S. Main St. to safety, then roused the 11 neighbors living in the building’s four other apartments. Page was transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care after suffering burns on his back and arms.
