Warren Township Schools closed Monday after buses vandalized

Classes were cancelled for all Warren Township students Monday after batteries were stolen from 30 of the school systems’ 186 buses. School officials said it may have happened Saturday. School Superintendent Peggy Hinkley said whoever took the batteries got in through the northeast corner of the bus lot’s chain-link fence. "When people came in at about 5:30 this morning, that is when we realized we had a big problem. They evidently drove a vehicle through once they cut through the fence and drove through," said Hinkley.
