Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 Property

Residents who live near a large landslide that started last Friday in Des Moines say they can see that it’s getting bigger. Andi Tegtmeyer lives across the street from the three homes that are currently evacuated."It definitely has grown quite a bit, even the last couple of days," he said. "It’s definitely still moving, that’s for sure." Experts say that’s unusual. Typically slides like this settle down in a few days. In this case the city says it could be weeks. That meant a quick move Monday for renters in one of the areas million dollar homes.
