Wrong-Way Crash Involving 5 Vehicles Shuts Down Phoenix Interstate

A crash involving five vehicles has resulted in the shut down of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in the heart of Phoenix. The Department of Public Safety has confirmed that a wrong-way driver was involved.
Authorities have reported four people were transported to area hospitals. "The closure is expected to last through the Friday morning commute, so drivers who normally use I-10 from the West Valley or I-17 from the North Valley should expect delays and allow for extended travel times.
