James River at Ashton
.The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through
the next 24 hours. Any additional future precipitation could affect
the forecasts.
The Flood Warning continues for
The James River near Stratford.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:45 AM Monday the stage was 16.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 17.2 feet by
Monday October 21st. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet...County roads begin flooding and the road 2 miles
north of the gauging location is one of the first to flood.
