Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above- ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 to 31 degrees expected. * WHERE...Much of southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will be at or below freezing for up to 6 to 8 hours. Scattered to widespread frost will also occur.
