The Flood Warning continues for
the Delaware River At Callicoon.
* Until early Thursday morning.
* At 4:30 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 10.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 14.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It
will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.8 feet, Backwater flooding from the Delaware river
up Callicoon Creek may affect the ballpark on Creamery Road.
Flooding worsens on the Pennsylvania side of the river. This was
the approximate level of the ice jam flood of January 1979.
