...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...
* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 25 to 35 mph
with gusts up to 55 mph expected. For the first Wind Advisory,
south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. For the second
Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana and
west central to north central Mississippi.
* WHEN...High Wind Warning, from 6 AM until noon CST today. For
the first Wind Advisory, until 6 AM CST early this morning. For
the second Wind Advisory, from noon today to 6 PM CST this
evening.
* IMPACTS...During the high wind warning, strong winds could blow
down trees and power lines, so power outages should be expected.
Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
During the wind advisory, gusty winds could blow around
unsecured objects and tree limbs could be blown down resulting
in a few power outages.
