FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast North Carolina, including the
following areas, Bladen, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover,
Coastal Pender, Columbus, Inland Brunswick, Inland New Hanover,
Inland Pender and Robeson. Portions of northeast South Carolina,
including the following areas, Central Horry, Coastal Georgetown,
Coastal Horry, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Inland Georgetown,
Marion, Marlboro, Northern Horry and Williamsburg.
* WHEN...Through Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Idalia will spread heavy rain across the region tonight into
Thursday as it moves up the coast. Rainfall totals of 6-8"
forecasted inland with 4-6" along the coast, with isolated
higher amounts possible.
