Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Coke, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Schleicher, Sterling,
Sutton and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 200 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms from San Angelo to Eldorado to Ozona will moves
southeast at 35 mph. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have estimated
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches can be
expected as the line of storms moves east.

San Angelo, Eldorado, Sterling City, Mertzon, Paint Rock,
Christoval, Ozona, Eden, Knickerbocker, Sherwood, Tankersley,
Twin Buttes Reservoir, Arden, Lake Nasworthy, San Angelo
State Park, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Goodfellow Air Force Base,
Carlsbad, Grape Creek and Wall.

Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 334 and 337...and
between Mile Markers 366 and 370.
This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306,
Howard and Webster, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South
Bryant, FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 1692 crossing Sales
Branch, FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM 2334 crossing Dry
Lipan Creek, Ranch Road 859 crossing west Rocky Creek and RM
853 crossing Dry Draw.
