STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LAURENS AND GREENWOOD
COUNTIES THROUGH 930 AM EDT...
At 903 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Laurens to 3 miles south
of Greenwood to 18 miles southeast of Abbeville. Movement was east at
30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Greenwood, Laurens, Clinton, Ninety Six, Joanna, Cross Hill,
Waterloo, Lake Greenwood State Park, Lake Greenwood, and Greenwood
State Park.
