Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of central Texas, including the following
counties, Coryell and Lampasas.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small
stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will
experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
0.2 to 1 inch are possible.

Kempner, Evant, Fort Gates, Belton Lake, Mother Neff State
Park, Colorado Bend State Park, Lometa, Oglesby, South
Mountain, Whitson, Osage, Arnett, Harbin, Hurst Springs and
Pidcoke.
