Increase Fire Danger Today... Northwesterly winds will increase to between 10 and 20 mph and become gusty to around 25 mph today, strongest from late morning through early this afternoon. These northwesterly winds will also usher a much drier, Arctic airmass across the region, which will result in minimum relative humidity values between 20 and 30 percent this afternoon. Increased Fire Danger may result. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
