Increased Threat of Wildfires Wednesday Afternoon and Evening...
The combination of near-record high temperatures, gusty south to
southwest winds, marginally low humidity, and antecedent dry
conditions will result in increased fire danger Wednesday.
Sunny skies with near-record highs around 80 degrees are expected.
South to southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, with gusts 20 to 25
mph, are also expected Wednesday afternoon and evening. Relative
humidity values should bottom out between 35 and 42 percent,
before gradually recovering overnight Wednesday night as a cold
front approaches from the west.
