At 1253 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Pinehurst, or 9 miles southwest of Carthage,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Southern Pines, Carthage, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Goldston,
Whispering Pines, Pinebluff, Broadway, and Robbins.
