AN AREA OF SNOW WILL AFFECT PARTS OF OTSEGO...STEUBEN...
CHEMUNG...CHENANGO...TIOGA...BROOME...DELAWARE...SUSQUEHANNA...AND
BRADFORD COUNTIES...
HAZARDS...An area of snow accompanied by winds of 20 MPH which can
rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile. Snow accumulations
up to 1 inch will cause untreated roads and surface to become snow
covered and slick early this morning. Plan some extra time to reach
your destination safely.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 439 AM EST, an area of moderate snow was
along a line extending from near Worcester to Oneonta to near Sidney
to Newark Valley to Breesport to near South Corning and moving south
at 10 MPH.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Chemung, Binghamton, Elmira, Vestal, Johnson City, Oneonta, Endicott,
Corning, Southport, and Barton.
This includes the following highway exits...
New York Interstate 81 between 1 and 8.
Interstate 86/Route 17 between 42 and 84.
Interstate 88 between 1 and 19.
Pennsylvania Interstate 81 near 230.
