WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MONDAY TO 1 AM
EST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central, south
central, southwest and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 1 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially after
sunset. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening
commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Numerous snow showers are expected to
develop Monday. The falling temperatures, strong wind gusts of
35-40 MPH, and these snow showers may allow for the development
of snow squalls, which are brief, but intense, bursts of snow
accompanied by strong, gusty winds, creating areas of near
whiteout visibility and rapidly deteriorating road conditions,
which can quickly cause development of hazardous travel
conditions. Even outside of squalls, snow showers and strong
winds may cause spotty travel difficulties during the daytime,
particularly for high profile vehicles.
