FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST MONDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following counties, Anson, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Edgecombe,
Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee,
Montgomery, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Richmond, Sampson,
Scotland, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne and Wilson.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread rain, heavy at times, will spread across the area
through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are
expected, with locally higher amounts.
