FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM EST EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central New York, including the following counties, Broome, Chemung, Cortland, Tioga and Tompkins and northeast Pennsylvania, including the following county, Susquehanna. * WHEN...Until 545 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 246 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen, as rainfall rates approach a half inch per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
