Scattered Snow Showers Expected Monday... Scattered snow showers are expected to develop Monday as an Arctic cold front works across the region. In addition to the snow showers, strong gusty northwest winds of 20-30 mph are expected. Some of the snow showers may be briefly heavy resulting in reduced visibilities and some minor accumulations on elevated and grassy surfaces. Air temperatures during the day are expected to remain above freezing, though temperatures are expected to drop below freezing towards sunset. Those traveling across portions of central Kentucky and southern Indiana Monday should monitor the latest forecasts and be prepared for rapidly changing weather and travel conditions.
