Patchy Dense Fog This Morning... Surface observations, traffic cameras, and satellite imagery show that patchy fog has formed across portions of Central Florida. At 650AM, fog was most prevalent over Sumter, Polk, Highlands, Hardee, and DeSoto counties. Drivers should prepare to encounter rapid visibility reductions this morning. When driving in fog, slow down, use only your low beam headlights, and leave extra distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you.
