AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of a less than an inch and ice accumulations of
up to two tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...In North Carolina, Surry County. In Virginia, Carroll
County.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Untreated roads and sidewalks will become slick and
hazardous. Bridges and overpasses will be most susceptible to
ice. Ice accumulations on trees and power lines may result in
downed tree limbs and isolated power outages.
