steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS
EVENING...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Total snow accumulations of 4
to 7 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and western Maryland and
eastern West Virginia.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing
rain will continue today, with more snow north of US Route 50
and east of Keysers Ridge, and more mixing south. The snow may
be heavy at times during the afternoon, with snowfall rates of 1
to 2 inches per hour possible. Precipitation will come to an
end during the evening.
