inches with 8 to 12 inches expected in the southern Adirondacks,
Helderbergs, central Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley and
southern Green Mountains. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph in
the higher terrain areas.
* WHERE...Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys, Greater Capital Region,
southern Vermont, Lake George and Saratoga Region, and the
Southern Adirondacks.
* WHEN...Through 7 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult tonight due to snow
covered roadways and reduced visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates a half inch to an inch per
hour tonight with one inch per hour possible in the southern
Adirondacks and southern Green Mountains. Snow may turn
moderate again during the day on Sunday with rates up to a half
inch to one inch per hour possible where snow bands can
redevelop.
