WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE
MONDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 8
inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE...In Colorado, Kit Carson and Cheyenne Counties. In
Nebraska, Hitchcock and Red Willow Counties.
* WHEN...From late tonight through late Monday night.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong
winds could cause tree damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Locations southeast of a line from McCook,
Nebraska to Cheyenne Wells, Colorado will see the most amount of
snow. Exact placement of the highest snow amounts is still in
question. Locations west of a line from Goodland, Kansas to
Leoti, Kansas will see the highest winds and have potential to
experience blizzard conditions.
