Icy Roadways This Morning... Black ice has likely developed in many areas in addition to any snow covered surfaces across western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, the northern Shenandoah Valley, and portions of the Potomac Highlands. Use caution and reduce speed if driving this morning. Surfaces that appear wet may actually be icy, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
