Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

* WHAT...For the first Hard Freeze Warning, sub-freezing
temperatures between 24 and 28 degrees are expected. For the
second Hard Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures between
22 and 27 degrees are expected.
* WHERE...Tohono O`odham Nation, Tucson Metro Area, South
Central Pinal County and Southeast Pinal County.
* WHEN...For the first Hard Freeze Warning, from 1 AM to 9 AM
MST Monday. For the second Hard Freeze Warning, from midnight
Monday night to 10 AM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
