WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9
inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Michigan.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A storm system will move northeast from the
Plains states tonight moving through Southwest Lower Michigan on
Tuesday. Snow will spread into the area overnight with snow
continuing on Tuesday. The snow may mix at times with some rain
on Tuesday before switching back to snow Tuesday night. The snow
will be heavy and wet and may accumulate to greater than 6
inches in some areas.
