FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of western Maryland, including the following area, Central and Eastern Allegany and eastern West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Mineral, Hampshire and Hardy. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A period of moderate to heavy rain is likely to overspread the area Tuesday afternoon and evening. Rainfall totals of one to three inches are expected.
