LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE EXPECTED BEFORE THE SNOW ARRIVES...
Light freezing drizzle has been reported in northeast Wisconsin
early this evening, and may expand across much of the region
before the steadier snow arrives overnight. The best likelihood
of freezing drizzle, and some light icing, is expected over far
northeast Wisconsin.
Snow will be delayed a bit by lingering dry air, but is expected
to develop in parts of central Wisconsin and the southern Fox
Valley toward midnight, then spread north overnight into early
Tuesday. The snow will start to accumulate in central, east
central and northeast Wisconsin overnight, and in north central
Wisconsin early Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow is still
expected to occur Tuesday afternoon and early evening, and this
will also coincide with the strongest winds, which will gust to
30 to 40 mph at times.
