FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and west central
Georgia, including the following counties, Butts, Crawford,
Jasper, Monroe, Henry, Morgan and Newton, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike,
Spalding, Talbot and Upson.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1003 AM EST, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated
between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.

Covington, Thomaston, Barnesville, Jackson, Zebulon, Oxford,
Porterdale, Newborn, Flovilla, Milner, Mansfield,
