FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
areas, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin,
Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon,
Mifflin, Montour, Northern Centre, Northern Clinton, Northern
Lycoming, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern
Centre, Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga,
Union and York.
* WHEN...From 1 PM EST this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Small streams and creeks may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 1 to 2.5 inches are expected across the
watch area, with local amounts near 3 inches possible.
Melting snow will increase runoff and result in an elevated
risk of flooding.
