BRIEF HEAVY SNOW RATES EXPECTED... Steady snowfall has overspread the region with temperatures remaining in the mid 20s to low 30s. Snow may initially be moderate to heavy and result in light accumulations of up to an inch on roads and other surfaces causing slick travel conditions. As temperatures continue to warm through the afternoon, snow will transition to rain at lower elevations by this evening, and at higher elevations by early tonight.
