Iredell County in the piedmont of North Carolina... Rowan County in the piedmont of North Carolina... * Until 900 PM EST. * At 530 PM EST, Excessive runoff will linger into the evening hours across the warned area. Remain wary of flooding of low-lying areas throughout the Hunting Creek, South Yadkin, Second Creek and Grants Creek basins. Lingering high water conditions will slowly recede throughout the I-85 and I-77 corridors which includes but is not limited to greater Statesville and Salisbury. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Gauges reported.
