FRIDAY TO MIDNIGHT CST /1 AM EST/ FRIDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana,
western Kentucky and southeast Missouri.
* WHEN...From 6 AM CST /7 AM EST/ Friday to midnight CST /1 AM
EST/ Friday night.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Wet
ground may result in some trees being uprooted, and tree limbs
will be blown down. A few power outages are likely. High
profile vehicles will have difficulty.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A corridor of stronger winds, with gusts up
to 60 mph is possible over the Pennyrile region of west
Kentucky ahead of the front, and across the entire quad-state
behind the front. If that begins to appear likely a high wind
warning will be issued.
