...WIND CHILL WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
11 AM MST TUESDAY...
* WHAT....For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total
snow accumulations up to three inches. Isolated areas could see
up to four inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. The
potential for localized snow squalls exists during this afternoon,
especially along the Interstate 25 corridor. For the Wind Chill
Warning, dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as
low as 40 to 50 below zero from Friday evening through the
weekend.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Wyoming.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 11 PM MST this
evening. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 5 PM this afternoon
to 11 AM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty
winds could bring down tree branches. The dangerously cold
wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little
as 5 minutes.
