Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Farmington River At Simsbury affecting Hartford County. Assabet River At Maynard affecting Middlesex and Worcester Counties. Sudbury River At Saxonville affecting Middlesex County. Shawsheen River At Andover affecting Essex County. Pawtuxet River At Cranston affecting Kent and Providence Counties. Pawcatuck River At Wood River Junction affecting Washington County. Pawcatuck River At Westerly affecting Washington and New London Counties. Taunton River Near Bridgewater affecting Bristol and Plymouth Counties. Wood River At Hope Valley affecting Washington County. .Heavy rain will fall on a deep primed snowpack leading to the melt increasing. Flows in rivers will increase quickly and reach critical levels. Lowest lying homes along Hiscox Road in Westerly are inundated by floodwaters. Along Route 3, flooding occurs at homes in French Village in Hopkinton. Follow the advice of local officials, and evacuate if asked to do so.
