WEATHER...
* Widespread snow will rapidly develop over southeastern Michigan
through the afternoon.
* Air temperatures currently range between 33-36 degrees. This
will initially limit accumulations to grassy or elevated
surfaces through 3 PM. Accumulations on roadways will be
possible after 3 or 4 PM as temperatures drop closer to
freezing and snow rates increase.
* East winds around 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Highly
fluctuating visibilities to or below 1 mile are expected given
the breezy conditions.
IMPACTS...
* Accumulating snow may lead to slippery roads particularly on
bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.
* Snow is will bring a reduction in visibility to around 1 mile
or less.
