* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills are
expected. Wind chills ranging from zero to as low as 20 below
zero. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible.
Widespread total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches possible,
with a heavier band of 6 to 9 inches possible.
* WHERE...For the Wind Chill Advisory, much of western,
northwestern, and northern Arkansas. For the Winter Storm Watch,
much of western, northwestern, northern Arkansas
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Advisory, from noon Sunday to noon
CST Tuesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday afternoon
through Monday afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...With Arctic air firmly in place before and
after the winter weather arrives, impacts from snowfall will
last for several days, resulting in a prolonged period of
hazardous travel conditions. Bitter cold wind chills could
result in frostbite as well as significant impacts to
infrastructure.
