Wind chills ranging from zero to as low as 20 below zero. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Widespread total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches possible, with a heavier band of 6 to 9 inches possible. * WHERE...For the Wind Chill Advisory, much of western, northwestern, and northern Arkansas. For the Winter Storm Watch, much of western, northwestern, northern Arkansas * WHEN...For the Wind Chill Advisory, from noon Sunday to noon CST Tuesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...With Arctic air firmly in place before and after the winter weather arrives, impacts from snowfall will last for several days, resulting in a prolonged period of hazardous travel conditions. Bitter cold wind chills could result in frostbite as well as significant impacts to infrastructure.
