Avoid outside activities if possible. If you must be outside, make
sure you wear appropriate clothing, dressing in layers and
covering exposed skin. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly
and that you have a carbon monoxide detector. Do not use generators
or grills inside. If traveling, carry a winter survival kit and
inform others of your travel plans.

conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST /5 AM
MST/ SUNDAY...
* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Warning, life-threatening wind chills as
low as 60 below zero expected. For the Winter Weather Advisory,
blowing snow expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Much of central North Dakota along and south of Highway 2,
including the James River Valley.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until noon CST /11 AM MST/
Monday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 AM CST /5 AM MST/
Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values will fall to extremely dangerous
levels, which could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little
as 5 minutes, and hypothermia shortly thereafter. Widespread
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility, with near
whiteout conditions possible in rural areas.
