Light Snow and Gusty Winds Overnight...Mainly Near I-64...
Light snow is expected to develop overnight as an arctic front
pushes southeast across the area. Brief, moderate snow showers
with wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected along the boundary.
Snowfall with generally diminish with southeastward extent. The
greatest accumulations of up to one half inch are expected near
the I-64 corridor, with mainly a dusting further southeast.
Visibility reductions of less than a mile will occur with any
moderate snow showers along the front. Temperatures will also
fall rapidly through the teens behind the front, potentially
causing any liquid water on untreated roadways to refreeze. Those
traveling overnight should prepare for slick spots and rapid
changes in visibility.
