SNOW SQUALLS AND STRONG WIND GUSTS POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
A strong frontal boundary could bring scattered snow showers and
a few heavier snow squalls Sunday afternoon. Greatest confidence
are areas of interior southern New England. Snow squalls quickly
produce 1-2 inches of snow, reduce visibilities, and make driving
treacherous. Temperatures are expected to drop quickly behind the
front and will result in untreated wet surfaces to freeze. In
addition, behind the front, there is the potential for strong
westerly wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph.
