...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
MONDAY...
* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Advisory, wind chill readings will be
from -10 to around -20 degrees. For the Winter Weather
Advisory, snow is expected. Total snow accumulations will be
from 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible along
the Missouri/Arkansas border.
* WHERE...The Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for all of
southern Illinois and most of southeast Missouri. The Winter
Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of southern
Illinois south of Route 13, and most of southeast Missouri.
* WHEN...The Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until noon. The
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon today to 6 PM
CST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The
cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions
are not taken.
