...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST MONDAY...
* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected.
Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. For the Wind Chill
Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low
as 15.0 below zero.
* WHERE..Large portions of central and southern Arkansas.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 PM CST Monday.
For the Wind Chill Advisory, until noon CST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...|With Arctic air firmly in place before
and after the winter weather arrives, impacts from snowfall
will last for several days, resulting in a prolonged period of
hazardous travel conditions. Bitter cold wind chills could
result in frostbite as well as significant impacts to
infrastructure.
