A SNOW SQUALL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM EST FOR NORTHEASTERN ORANGE...CALEDONIA...EAST CENTRAL ORLEANS AND ESSEX COUNTIES... At 300 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from East Brighton to West Corinth, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow. Wind gusts up to 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are expected to develop rapidly in the warning area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 91 between mile markers 93 and 121, and between mile markers 123 and 144. Interstate 93 between mile markers 1 and 11. Locations impacted include... St. Johnsbury, Island Pond, Lyndon, Bradford, Burke, Brunswick, Averill, Newark, Fairlee, Canaan, West Burke Village, Corinth Corners, Ryegate, Ferdinand, Granby, Kirby, Averys Gore, Newbury, Newbury Village, and Norton.
