* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, additional snowfall of 1 to
2 inches is possible over central and eastern Arkansas. Over
southern Arkansas, mainly sleet is expected with some snow mixed
in at times, sleet amounts of one-half to one inch are
possible. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills
expected. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero.
* WHERE...Large portions of central and southern Arkansas.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 PM CST Monday.
For the Wind Chill Advisory, until noon CST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...With Arctic air firmly in place before
and after the winter weather arrives, impacts from snowfall
will last for several days, resulting in a prolonged period of
hazardous travel conditions. Bitter cold wind chills could
result in frostbite as well as significant impacts to
infrastructure.
