...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 5 to 10 below zero this morning and again tonight and
Tuesday morning. For the Winter Weather Advisory, additional
light snow accumulations up to a half inch are expected this
morning.
* WHERE...Portions of west-central, central and northeast
Arkansas.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Advisory, until noon CST Tuesday.
For the Winter Weather Advisory, until noon CST today.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...With Arctic air firmly in place, impacts
from snowfall will last for several days, resulting in a
prolonged period of hazardous travel conditions. Bitter cold
wind chills could result in frostbite as well as significant
impacts to infrastructure.
